Who is League of Experience?

Michael van Praag and Rianne Toussaint met during their activities in ‘football’ and their shared commitment to and enthusiasm for the sector soon led to the creation of League of Experience. Michael is involved with League of Experience from a distance as Member of the Supervisory Board, and Rianne is the managing director, steering the League of Experience and its activities.

After studying Personnel and Organisation Rianne began working at Vitesse as a Personnel Officer giving her a first taste of the professional football sector. After working there for a number of years she joined the staff of the Federation of Professional Football Organisations (FBO), the employers’ organisation for professional football organisations. In the position of HR Advisor she guided the clubs with all sorts of problems from advice about ill employees, reorganisation of internal organisation and assisting in setting up policy plans, to collective activities such as the development and writing of the sector handbook and initiating schooling for players. After years of enjoying working for the FBO and its members, the clubs, the setting up of the League of Experience is a fitting continuation of her career.
