Master Classes

With master classes the accent lies in going deeply into subjects in ‘the football world’ or sport at policy level. The master class is led by an experienced expert who shares his or her experiences. Participants’ visions and experiences will also be shared.

The master classes provide a unique opportunity to share different practical and theoretical insights with each other and that can only benefit all participants. To stimulate good interaction the master classes will be kept on a small scale of a maximum of 12 people. The composition of the participants will always assure, in terms of function level and responsibilities, that an optimal exchange of knowledge takes place.

As well as the master classes that discuss current questions we will strive to organise, twice a year, the 'Never Lost: A practical guide through professional football land’ master class. Here we will help you navigate through all the establishments and organisations in professional football. We will discuss the tasks and functions of these organisations and what added value they could have for your club. It saves a policy maker of a club a lot of time and money if he knows the route and possibilities of achieving expert assistance. Also the role and responsibilities of a club policy maker will be discussed and how these relate to their club’s mission, the division of board portfolios, the fine-tuning of internal organisation, etc.

The master classes will be held in our villa on our Villa Anderstein Estate, which through its unique location and beautiful large windows with views of the Anderstein golf course, provides above all an inspirational environment where ideas will come to fruition. The combination of original surroundings and contemporary art and design is unique. Often during these master classes lunch or dinner will be taken together. We are pleased to welcome you, then, to ‘our home’.
