The media is the mouthpiece of your organisation to the public at large and the manner in which your ‘message’ is handled is decisive, to a great extent, for the success and perception of your club or yourself! This can have both positive and negative consequences. How do I get and keep in charge of the interview? How do I prevent my words being taken out of context? How can I ensure that my message comes across in the way that I want? How do I convey bad news, how do I convey good news, how do I manage a conflict, what do I do if I’m still misquoted, what if only a 20 second quote for the evening news is used and so on…?But most of all: How do I look on TV and how do I sound on radio.

Michael van Praag has, since 1989, stood in front of the cameras and on the recording side of the radio microphone with great regularity through good times and bad. With all that experience he is highly qualified to advise you in dealing with the television, radio and print media in an effective manner. Using the latest video and recording equipment interviews and conversations with you are recorded and evaluated and afterwards you will receive a DVD of all the various sessions. Above all, the training will be tailored to your individual situation, your personality and requirements. It is not always what you say but how you say it that is important.
